A basic flight instrument to provide the pilot the means, by which, he can easily remain upright during instrument conditions. This flight instrument will be highly trustworthy, in that it will be absolutely tumble free due to its basic input derivatives. The instrument will be provided with two separate erection systems, whereby, the roll erection system will consist of a gimbal cage, spring tension erected and the pitch erection system will consist of a drum, the rotation of which will be properly erected by means of a gravitational weight and rotational reversing system.

The aileron trim control system controls the movement of the aileron trim tabs to provide lateral trim. The system is controlled mechanically by a control knob on the control pedestal in the flight compartment. ... The control knob is mounted on the end of a shaft in the trim control mechanism. A drum on the opposite end of the shaft is connected by a two-way cable system to a drum on a shaft located in the right wheel well. Another drum at the base of the same shaft is connected by a second cable system routed along the rear spar of each wing to the trim tab actuators. The actuators are connected to the trim tabs by a pushrod. A trim position indicator is connected mechanically to the trim control knob.

Aileron control is supplemented by the flight spoilers which are controlled by the spoiler mixer. The spoiler mixer senses aileron movement and automatically provides the correct amount of spoiler deflection.

There are two lateral control mixers, one located in each main gear wheel well. The mixers allow the spoiler system to be operated by the speedbrake control lever, by the aileron control wheels, or by both simultaneously.... Each mixer consists of a bracket; a shaft supporting the aileron input drum, aileron output drum, and a spoiler cam; two cam follower arms; two spoiler sectors; and connecting links, cranks, and pushrods.
