1, record 11, French, - indice%20de%20r%C3%A9fraction%20du%20milieu

Semiconductive Thin Film Detector. Using the known principle that the adsorption and desorption of gases cause a change in electrical conductivity of semiconductors, Seiyama et al. developed a new chromatographic detector for gaseous components.... The current, depending upon the resistance of the film, is converted to voltage by the variable resistance, which is fed without amplification to a recorder. Resistance also adjusts the input voltage of the recorder at desired sensitivity. Using zinc oxide as an example of a typical film material, the conductivity of its film maintains a fixed value when the nitrogen carrier gas is passed at a constant flow rate throught the borosilicate glass tube. When a small amount of another gas or vapor is added to the carrier gas, its conductivity is changed. 1, record 13, English, - semiconductive%20thin%20film%20detector

The revolutionary Lennox G14 series pulse combustion up-flo gas furnaces provide energy efficiencies of up to 98% with the output capacity almost the same as the input.... The units operate on the pulse combustion principle and do not require a pilot burner, main burners, conventional flue or chimney. 4, record 15, English, - pulse%20combustion

Low energy gas(LEG) is produced by air gasification processes where a portion of the input wood(about 20 percent) is combusted with air to provide process heat. LEG can be used to displace fossil fuels by retrofitting oil or gas-fired boilers, kilns, dryers and space heaters. In addition, it can be cooled and cleaned for use in internal combustion engines to generate shaft power or electricity. Due to the low energy content, economics dictate that the gas be used immediately and not piped great distances. 1, record 16, English, - low%20energy%20gas
