A microwave mixer comprised of crossed waveguides and a crystal mixer. One of the waveguides has input horns at each end which are axially adjustable with respect to the ends of the waveguide. Axial adjustment of a horn with respect to the end of a waveguide varies the width of the gap between the horn and the waveguide to tune the signal input from the horn to the mixer. Accordingly, the mixer may be tuned by adjusting the position of the input horns with respect to the input ports of the mixer.

The best audio boards are designed with digital signal processor chips that provide more efficient sampling and contain separate circuits to bring in synthesized digital sound directly through a MIDI interface. In many cases audio boards are integrated with full-motion video boards... All audio boards offered for multimedia applications record and play back sounds by digital sampling but may have different sampling rate ranges. Most also include separate engines for music synthesis, MIDI ports, and a software mixer to adjust relative volumes of sampled sounds, CD-Audio, external audio and microphone input.

There are a number of recognized sound board products on the market today which have established common standards recognized by most multi-media software and CD-ROMs. By selecting one of these boards you are assured that you have a system where all of the applicable pieces have been developed based upon a common standard and the likelihood of conflicts occurring is minimized.

Aileron control is supplemented by the flight spoilers which are controlled by the spoiler mixer. The spoiler mixer senses aileron movement and automatically provides the correct amount of spoiler deflection.

There are two lateral control mixers, one located in each main gear wheel well. The mixers allow the spoiler system to be operated by the speedbrake control lever, by the aileron control wheels, or by both simultaneously.... Each mixer consists of a bracket; a shaft supporting the aileron input drum, aileron output drum, and a spoiler cam; two cam follower arms; two spoiler sectors; and connecting links, cranks, and pushrods.
