The Saskatchewan Financial Services Commission(SFSC) was established on February 1, 2003 through the amalgamation of the Saskatchewan Securities Commission, the Financial Institutions Section of the Consumer Protection Branch and the Pension Benefits Branch. SFSC is Saskatchewan's primary regulator of the financial services industry, including the credit union system, insurance, pensions, securities, and trust and loans.
