Student Activity : Acquire a large, clean empty cardboard box(top or bottom removed), big enough to fit easily and comfortably over a person's head, leaving ample room for ventilation. Sit the box on the floor or table, open side down, and tap or scratch lightly on the outside of the box using only your hands. Next, place the box over your head and repeat the procedure. Comment on the loudness of the sounds you hear. Relate this to conditions inside the International Space Station. Student Challenge : Acquire a simple, inexpensive household fan. Faites enfin le lien entre l'expérience que vous venez d'effectuer et les conditions qui règnent à l'intérieur de la Station spatiale internationale. Défi : Utilisez un simple petit ventilateur maison peu coûteux.
