Unlike soluble fibre, insoluble fibre does not dissolve in water. The main types of insoluble fibre include cellulose(primary material of plant cell walls), many hemicelluloses(cereal fibres), and lignins(non-polysaccharide). This is the best type of fibre for constipation, as it helps draw water into the stool to soften it and can help speed up transit time. It also increases fecal weight, which improves bowel movement consistency, and delays glucose absorption. 3, record 1, English, - insoluble%20fibre

1, record 1, French, - fibre%20insoluble

Some nonmelting and insoluble polymers can be ground to a finely divided powder, mixed into a solution of another polymer, and solution-spun to fibres. The soluble polymer can be removed by a solvent or by burning and the residual fibre collected. Such a process can be used to make fibres of fluorocarbons such as Teflon(trademark)... 3, record 2, English, - emulsion%20spinning

The word "Azoic" is the distinguishing name given to insoluble azo dyes that are... actually produced within the fibre itself. This is done with impregnating the fibre with one component of the dye, followed by treatment in another component, thus forming the dye within the fibre. The formation of this insoluble dye within the fabric makes it very fast to washing. 2, record 3, English, - azoic%20dyes

Three pre-processed wheat bran fractions were evaluated for soluble and insoluble dietary fibre, ß-D-glucan content and starch levels. From the results up-to-date, we found that :(i) ß-D-glucan content of pre-processed wheat bran Fraction(A1) was enriched from 0. 5% in the wheat to 2. 6%;... an enzymatic procedure was developed for the purification of ß-D-glucan, which allow us to compare the chemical and physical(rheological) properties of wheat ß-D-glucan against other cereals(e. g. oat and barley). These results suggest that pre-processed wheat bran is a potential functional food ingredient or a potential soluble/insoluble fibre source, which can be used in food as is or by minor modification to increase fibre solubility.
