The objective of the Inspections and Enforcement Sub-agreement is to serve as an enabling framework for future bilateral and multilateral implementation agreements that : deliver a range of inspection and enforcement activities across Canada that are fair consistent and predictable; provide a cooperative work sharing approach for inspection and enforcement activities related to environmental protection laws, where appropriate; identify a process to set priorities for inspection and enforcement programs; and provide an efficient and cost effective approach to inspection and enforcement activities in Canada.
