Les lavabos prennent une grande importance quand il s'agit d'en pourvoir un établissement industriel, en raison même du nombreux personnel qui doit en faire usage. Le type le plus simple consiste en une auge montée sur supports. Il convient principalement au personnel en faisant un usage intensif aux heures de cessation de travail.
