Poultry slaughter in larger operations, the birds are suspended by the leg on solid wire shackles attached to a conveyor system taking them to the various workstations. The birds are stunned prior to bleeding and then passed through either scalding water or a steam tunnel and through rotating devices with rubber scrubbers to remove feathers. 2, record 1, English, - poultry%20slaughter

2, record 2, French, - fil%20de%20d%C3%A9tonateur

Series Circuits. In series circuits all the caps are hooked up together to provide a single path for the current; one leg wire of one cap is connected to one from another cap, the other from the second cap to one from a third cap, and so on until all caps are included in the circuit. The two free ends are connected by lead wires to a blasting machine or other source of power. It is a simple and quick method of hooking up a number of blasting caps and has the advantage that the whole circuit can be tested with a blasting galvanometer. 2, record 4, English, - series%20circuit

1, record 4, French, - circuit%20en%20s%C3%A9rie
