Canada-Saskatchewan Agri-Food Innovation Fund, known as AFIF. Established in 1995, the Fund grew from an idea into reality and has helped eight key sectors of the agriculture economy grow. The federal-provincial agreement under which the Fund operated ended on March 31, 2003, but many of the AFIF-generated benefits will continue to provide A Lasting Legacy in the province for years to come.
