Gomery qui tranchait un litige relatif à la garde physique des enfants. Pour ce juge, l'autorité parentale est un devoir conjoint : chaque parent est concerné par la garde des enfants mais aussi par la surveillance et l'éducation de ceux-ci. Sa décision? Il accorde au père la garde physique des enfants et aux deux parents une garde légale conjointe.
