Many writers have emphasized that if Thayer is correct in stating that relevance is a matter of logic, the concept of legal relevance ought to be rejected. In this approach there are no degrees of relevance : evidence is either relevant or not. According to the standard of legal relevance, evidence is admissible only if, as a minimum, it is logically relevant, and it also has a higher degree of probative value than would be required for ordinary reasoning.(Fed./Prov. They are subject, in addition, to the rule in "Shelley's Case" and the rule against perpetuities.... Legal remainders arise under common law conveyances, including modern grants. Formerly, they also arose under wills, but it is probable that all remainders arising under wills are now equitable.... The legal remainder rules are a carry-over from feudal land law and are based on the importance that the law attached to seisin. While they are long since out of tune with modern conditions, they remain in force in common law Canada.(Anger & Honsberger, 2nd ed., 1985, pp. 391-2). 1, record 19, English, - legal%20remainder

[This] recognition is further defined as follows :(a) Recognition of a certificate, diploma or degree with a view to undertaking or pursuing studies at the higher level shall enable the holder to be considered for entry to the higher educational and research institutions of any Contracting State as if he were the holder of a comparable certificate, diploma or degree issued in the Contracting State concerned. Such recognition does not exempt the holder of the foreign certificate, diploma or degree from complying with the conditions(other than those relating to the holding of a diploma) which may be required for admission to the higher educational or research institution concerned of the receiving State.(b) Recognition of a foreign certificate, diploma or degree with a view to the practice of a profession is recognition of the professional preparation of the holder for the practice of the profession concerned, without prejudice, however, to the legal and professional rules or procedures in force in the Contracting States concerned. 2, record 26, French, - reconnaissance%20des%20dipl%C3%B4mes

Legal expert of KIBHR East Kazakhstan branch office had represented the news paper in this case. He argued that this publication could not be viewed as an appeal to forceful change of constitutional order and territorial integrity of Kazakhstan due to the following reasons : The text contains only an appeal to create an autonomy within the Republic. This is a political goal and the appeal itself does not contain a description of methods separatists planned to employ. The text does not mention violence or force in any part. Creation of autonomy itself is not a violation of territorial integrity-it is an attempt to change administrative-territorial division within the Republic and has nothing to do with its territorial integrity. The same about Constitutional order-it can not be affected by changes in administrative-territorial division. 1, record 35, English, - administrative%2Dterritorial%20division

In the legal sense, belligerency means war, or a situation of conflict by armed force in which all the participants are legally equal in respect to the hostilities. This implies that all belligerents are bound to observe the laws of war, are free to exercise war powers, and are entitled to expect from other states observance of the law of neutrality. 1, record 38, English, - belligerency
Record number: 38, Textual support number: 1 OBS
While properly applied to international hostilities of this type, the term is more commonly applied to such hostilities arising from civil strife. Belligerency is to be distinguished from piracy brigandage, from insurgency, and from aggression. 1, record 38, English, - belligerency

Natural law(or law of nature). The belief in natural law and natural law theories has been one of the most ancient and persistent themes in philosophy, and in legal history and theory. In general, it denotes belief in a system of right or justice common to all men prescribed by the supreme controlling force in the universe and distinct from positive law, law laid down by any particular state or other human organization. The starting points of all natural law thinking have been "reason" and "the nature of man". But there have always been disagreements about the meaning of natural law and its relation to positive law. 4, record 40, English, - natural%20law

2, record 40, French, - droit%20naturel
