A gender-based analysis(GBA) is a tool to both understand the local context and to support gender equality. A GBA examines the relationships between men and women, girls and boys, their access to resources, their activities, and the constraints they face relative to each other in a particular context. It identifies the varied roles played by women and men, girls and boys in the household, community, workplace, political processes and economy. These different roles often result in women having less access to and control over resources, and less participation and influence in decision-making processes. A GBA also considers how other intersecting identity factors such as race, ethnicity, LGBTQ2I [lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, two-spirit, intersex], legal status, ability, language, religion, socio-economic status, and education, affect individual and group experiences, including among women and among men. Gender equality is not exclusively about women's or girls’ issues and is not only about working with or for women and girls. Men's and boys’ engagement is critical. 5, record 4, English, - gender%2Dbased%20analysis

7, record 4, French, - analyse%20comparative%20entre%20les%20sexes

Rather than foster full recognition of both English and French in Canadian society, the actions of the Department of Justice would result in diminished opportunities for their use. The breach of obligations under section 41 must also be seen in light of the principle of official language equality under section 16 of the Charter, as well as the recognition that governments in Canada should advance by way of legislative action the equality of status or use of French and English. The principle of equality of our official languages must have substantive effects in order to ensure its full implementation. This imposes a constitutional obligation on the federal government to take the initiative in creating a necessary institutional support to the use of either official language. This obligation is ignored by action that reduces the scope of language rights as they apply to the legal process under federal jurisdiction. 1, record 11, English, - by%20way%20of%20legislative%20action

Or we may adopt the definition of estoppel given by Bramwell, L. At common law, husband and wife were regarded as one person, the legal existence of the wife during marriage being regarded as incorporated or merged into that of the husband. One result was that, if land were conveyed or devised to or devolved upon husband and wife during coverture in such manner that, if not married, they would have taken it as joint tenants, they took it as tenants by the entireties.(Anger & Honsberger, 2nd ed., 1985, p. 828). 1, record 16, English, - tenant%20by%20the%20entireties

The legislation relating to registration of title is directed to the manner in which the law and practice of conveyancing are to be adapted to the use of a centrally maintained register of title to land. As the use of the register has been extended, so the successive statutes mark the historical development of a system of conveyancing, commonly known as registered conveyancing, which approached maturity as part of the real property legislation of 1925. The result of that legislation, as respects registered land, is to produce on first registration a state insured, but nevertheless private, record of entitlement to legal estates in land, such record to be kept up to date in respect of subsequent transactions in accordance with the conveyancing technique for which the legislation provides.(26 Halsbury, 4th ed., p. 404). 1, record 17, English, - registered%20conveyancing

In interactional or non targeted sports... it is the failure of one of the teams to take a positive action that results in a score for the opposing team. That is, there is no definite delimited well defined scoring action. Any legal positive action taken by the offense can result in a score(can constitute a scoring action) if the other team cannot respond by keeping the action going....
