The Secrétariat à la législation is one of the secretariats of the Secrétariat général du Conseil exécutif. Consisting of an associate secretary general, an assistant secretary, two legislation advisors, and secretariat employees, this body assists the Comité de législation in its work. On behalf of the Comité de législation or at the request of the Secrétariat général du Conseil exécutif, the Secrétariat à la Législation analyzes the briefs and bills that must be brought to the Committee s attention. It makes sure that the work associated with the drafting of bills in government departments and agencies is carried out according to a timetable that permits the implementation of the government s legislative program. The Secretariat coordinates all of the revision work related to the bills that the government intends to propose in the National Assembly. Le Secrétariat à la législation est un des secrétariats du secrétariat général du Conseil exécutif. Composé d'un secrétaire général associé, d'un secrétaire adjoint, de deux conseillers en législation et d'employées de secrétariat, il assiste le Comité de législation dans ses travaux. Le Secrétariat procède, à l'intention du Comité ou à la demande du Secrétariat général du Conseil exécutif, à l'analyse des mémoires et des projets de loi qui doivent être soumis à l'attention du Comité. Il voit à ce que les travaux d'élaboration des projets de loi, dans les ministères et organismes du gouvernement, soient exécutés selon un calendrier permettant la mise en œuvre du programme législatif du gouvernement. On April 27, 2004, Canada's new National Security Policy was unveiled. The Policy announced that there would be an allocation of funds from the International Assistance Envelope to create a Counter-Terrorism Capacity Building(CTCB) Program to be administered by Foreign Affairs Canada. The Program will be managed interdepartmentally to ensure a whole-of-government approach to this assistance. This Program will enable Canada to share our expertise in areas such as border security; transportation security; anti-terrorism financing; legislative drafting, legal policy and human rights and counter-terrorism training; law enforcement, security, military and intelligence training; CBRE terrorism response; and cyber-security and critical infrastructure protection. 1, record 2, English, - Counter%2DTerrorism%20Capacity%20Building%20Program
