Record 1, Textual support, English
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 DEF
An outcrop feature developed in igneous and metamorphic rocks as a result of alternation of layers, stripes, flat lenses, or streaks differing conspicuously in mineral composition and/or texture. 4, record 1, English, - banded%20structure
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 CONT
A rock is said to have banded structure when the layers have varying physical properties and/or chemical compositions. Individual "stripes" (bands) should have a measurable thickness; where the bands are extremely thin the term lamination or laminar structure is more appropriate. 5, record 1, English, - banded%20structure
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 2 CONT
Tabular and lenticular veins typically display an internal ribbon structure... consisting of thin slivers to slabs or "ribbons" of altered and commonly foliated wallrocks, that have been incorporated into the vein by multiple-opening episodes. The thin ribbons commonly contain slickensides and slickenlines, as a result of displacements within, and at the margins of, the veins. 2, record 1, English, - banded%20structure

Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 CONT
3, record 1, French, - texture%20ruban%C3%A9e
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 2 CONT
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 3 CONT
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 4 CONT
2, record 1, French, - texture%20ruban%C3%A9e

Record number: 4, Textual support number: 1 DEF
A structure characteristic of certain veins in which they swerve from their course and then swing back again along a path parallel to their former direction but above or below it. When such structures occur in pairs they form a cymoid loop. When the two branches of a vein diverge to enclose a lenticular mass of wall-rock, the structure forms a cymoid lens. 1, record 4, English, - cymoid%20structure

1, record 4, French, - cymo%C3%AFde
