An antineutrino is the antiparticle partner of the neutrino, meaning that the antineutrino has the same mass but opposite "charge" of the neutrino. Although neutrinos are electromagnetically neutral(they have no electric charge and no magnetic moment), they may carry another kind of charge :lepton number. These are defining features that can distinguish a particle from an antiparticle(along with properties such as helicity). 2, record 1, English, - antineutrino

There is now very substantial evidence for the existence of a new elementary particle called the tau... the properties of the [tau] are analogous to the properties of the electron(e) and muon... Therefore, the [tau] has been classified as a member of the lepton particle family... even though it is much heavier than the e or [the muon], having a mass of almost 1, 800 MeV [megaelectron volt]/[c-squared]. 5, record 2, English, - tau

Weak interactions are responsible for the fact that all the more massive quarks and leptons decay to produce lighter quarks and leptons. When a particle decays, it disappears and in its place two or more particles appear. The sum of the masses of the produced particles is always less than the mass of the original particle. This is why stable matter around us contains only electrons and the lightest two quarks(up and down.) When a quark or lepton changes type(i. e. a muon changing to an electron) it is said to change flavor. All flavor changes are due to the weak interaction. The carrier particles of the weak intereactions are the W+, W-, and the Z bosons. The W's are electrically charged and the Z is neutral. A very interesting aspect of the Standard Model is that electromagnetic interactions and weak intereactions are combined into a unified interaction called electroweak. 1, record 3, English, - W%2D%20boson

Elektronen Synchroton(DESY) located near Hamburg in Germany, in the period from 1975-1978 confirmed the discovery and the interpretation of the muon-electron production process as arising from a new heavy lepton, the tau. According to the pattern of the first two generations, such a particle will also have an associated neutrino type, which will be produced whenever it decays. All the observed tau processes are consistent with this interpretation. 2, record 5, English, - tau%2Dtype

Most preon models describe each quark and lepton as a combination of three preons. In the preon model of Salam and Pati a quark or lepton contains one of three "somons" that determines its generation, one of two "flavons" that determines its flavor and electrical charge, and one of four "chromons" that determines its color(or lack thereof) and modifies its electrical charge.... Chromons that are red, green, or blue have a charge of + 1/6, while the colorless chromon has a charge of-1/2. 1, record 6, English, - chromon

Maintenant, on connaît un lepton plus lourd que certains baryons mais le nom est resté. 2, record 7, French, - lepton
