2, record 11, French, - nombre%20quantique%20magn%C3%A9tique

Exchange(intermediate, fast, slow, chemical and conformational) : Exchange is a kinetic process between two(or more) states that is characterized by a rate constant. In NMR [nuclear magnetic resonance] spectroscopy, exchange is classified into fast, intermediate and slow depending on the size of the rate constant with respect to chemical shift(which is measured in the same units(Hz) as the rate constant). In the fast exchange regime, the rate is much larger than the difference in chemical shift between the two states and the NMR signal will be at the weighted average position of the two states. In slow exchange, signals for both states are observable and the intensities are proportional to the populations of the two states. In intermediate exchange, the transition between the signals seen for slow and fast exchange takes place, resulting in very broad and often non-observable signals. 1, record 12, English, - slow%20exchange

The rate generator... is a small ac or dc generator that develops an output voltage(proportional to its rpm) whose phase or polarity depends on the rotor's direction of rotation. The dc rate generator usually has permanent magnetic field excitation. The ac rate generator field is excited by a constant ac supply. In either case, the rotor of the tachometer is mechanically connected, directly or indirectly, to the load. 5, record 17, English, - tachometer%20generator

In some small PM DC motors, the rotor is still fed by a conventional brush-and-commutator system. A more important type of PM motor has a stator with three windings producing a rotating field, as in induction and synchronous motors. The rotor consists of one or more permanent magnets that interact with the rotating field so as to align the poles in the rotor with the poles of the rotating field. The speed of the motor is the speed of the rotating field. Because there is no rotor current and the rotor magnetic field is constant, there are no losses in the rotor, helping to make PM motors more efficient... that induction motors. 2, record 19, English, - permanent%20magnet%20motor

Since the currents cannot be measured directly, it is necessary to measure the potential gradients between electrodes planted on surface or possibly in drill holes(...) non-polarizing electrodes should be used to reduce erratic potentials at the soil contact; lead plates, which are fairly inert chemically, are often employed instead. The electrodes are connected to an amplifier which will drive a strip chart or magnetic tape recorder. If specific frequencies are of interest, various bandpass and reject filters are incorporated in the amplifier section. Also, static potentials between the electrodes, which may be several hundred millivolts, must be balanced out; this is done with a potentiometer, or capacitance input, the latter having a time constant considerably longer than the maximum period to be recorded. 2, record 32, English, - field%20equipment%20for%20the%20telluric%20current%20method
