Reactor coolant pumps … Control rod drive mechanisms extract from, support, or insert into the reactor the control rod clusters from which the neutron absorber rods are suspended. They control staged movements of these rod clusters. … A cluster drive mechanism consists of a pressurized latch housing which retains the coolant and supports the other components. Each cluster drive mechanism is assembled in a long cylinder 6. 5 meters high. It is packed with different mechanism components. These include the ratchet support system which operates the control spindle, a set of magnetic coils triggering rod movements and finally the control spindle sitting in a reinforced housing. 1, record 2, English, - cluster%20drive%20mechanism

3, record 4, French, - technique%20de%20la%20zone%20flottante
Record number: 4, Textual support number: 1 OBS
4, record 4, French, - technique%20de%20la%20zone%20flottante

Each of the five inserts will be a furnace to process materials in different ways, such as directional solidification-melting and freezing a sample from one end to the other-or quenching a sample quickly to "freeze" its condition. The German insert will be a special furnace that uses a rotating magnetic field to control flows within the molten samples. 2, record 8, French, - four%20%C3%A0%20zone%20flottante
