Ascochyta Blight of Faba Bean. Leaf spots are grey to brown, oval, and up to 1 cm in diameter with definite margins. Small, black pycnidia form in the center of lesions, often in a concentric ring pattern. Leaf spots may merge into irregular black patches causing a blighted appearance. Stem lesions are more elongated, usually sunken and reddish brown. Pod lesions are often sunken, tan to black, and frequently have darker margins. Infected seed may be discoloured and shrivelled.

Downy mildew of grape can be a serious disease in ... vineyards. This fungus disease develops whenever weather during the growing season is moist and temperatures are cool to moderate. The downy mildew fungus attacks leaves, fruit, shoots and tendrils. The disease may cause premature defoliation in mid to late summer that results in a weakening of the plant and reduced sugar content of the fruit.

With time, the lesions enlarge and a white moldy growth composed of fungus threads(mycelium) and spores form on the undersides of the leaves. As lastly, there are exchangers, such as NTE, that create liquidity matching bid/ask offers and act as neutral third parties, enforcing market rules and settlements terms. Over time, these distinct models will tend to merge.

An issue of considerable interest is the so-called multicellular thunderstorm system, as opposed to supercells, which are often presumed to be unicellular. A form of multicellular convection that has already been simulated extensively is the squall line. The typical method for simulating this form of deep line-oriented convection has been to release a number of laterally-aligned IB's. After the initial storms develop, their outflows merge, producing a line of convection resembling a squall line. Squall lines are not the only type of multicellular convection observed, however. In isolated multicell storms, a succession of updrafts is typical.

Thunderstorms are often classified into a spectrum based on their cell structure : single cells, multicellular storms, and supercells. The type of storm depends on the instability and relative wind conditions at different layers of the atmosphere(shear). The "single-cell"(unicell) thunderstorm is [a] three-stage situation... usually lasting about 30 minutes from the start of significant precipitation. A severe unicell storm is often referred to as a pulse thunderstorm.... In a multicell thunderstorm, several thunderstorm cells merge into a larger system. The cloud becomes divided into updraft and downdraft regions separated by a gust front. The gust front may extend for several miles ahead of the storm, bringing with it increases in wind speed and atmospheric pressure, decreases in temperature, and shifts in wind direction. The storm itself will have different portions sequentually going through the various thunderstorm stages. In many cases the immature cells develop along a line known as a "flanking line, "resulting in what is known as a line multicell.

La fréquence de ce phénomène ainsi que son intensité sont variables. Sous l'influence du vent solaire, du côté nuit, la queue de la magnétosphère est étirée. Une partie du plasma du vent solaire s'accumule au milieu de la queue. Ce plasma a tendance à se déplacer vers la Terre. La couche de plasma (au centre de la queue) devient de plus en plus mince et des différences de pressions de plus en plus importantes apparaissent. Vient ensuite le sous-orage proprement dit : le contenu de la couche de plasma se vide au niveau des pôles, produisant des aurores très brillantes.

Les sous-orages résultent de la reconnection du feuillet de plasma au niveau de points neutres. Comme nous l'avons vu précédemment, la reconnection des lignes de champ propulse les particules du plasma dans des directions opposées. Dans ce cas, une partie des protons et des électrons retourne vers la Terre, pendant que l'autre partie s'éloigne vers la queue sous forme d'un plasmoïde. Les électrons susceptibles de provoquer des aurores sont ceux qui se dirigent vers la Terre. Une fois éjectés, ils ont une énergie suffisante pour, en suivant les lignes de champ, précipiter dans la zone aurorale.
