The air quality health index or "AQHI" is a scale designed to help you understand what the air quality around you means to your health.... The AQHI communicates four primary things : 1. A number from 1 and 10+ indicating the quality of the air. The higher the number, the greater the health risk associated with the air quality. When the amount of air pollution is very high, the number will be reported as 10+. 2. A category that describes the level of health risk associated with the index reading(e. g. Low, Moderate, High, or Very High Health Risk). 3. Health messages customized to each category for both the general population and the ’at risk’ population. 4. The Canadian Forest Fire Weather Index(FWI) System consists of six components that account for the effects of fuel moisture and weather conditions on fire behavior. The first three components are fuel moisture codes, which are numeric ratings of the moisture content of the forest floor and other dead organic matter. Their values rise as the moisture content decreases. There is one fuel moisture code for each of three layers of fuel : litter and other fine fuels; loosely compacted organic layers of moderate depth; and deep, compact organic layers. The remaining three components are fire behavior indices, which represent the rate of fire spread, the fuel available for combustion, and the frontal fire intensity; these three values rise as the fire danger increases. 1, record 15, English, - Canadian%20Forest%20Fire%20Weather%20Index%20System

1, record 15, French, - M%C3%A9thode%20canadienne%20de%20l%27indice%20for%C3%AAt%2Dm%C3%A9t%C3%A9o

Neonatal neurobehavior describes a hierarchically organized system of neurological and behavioral functioning that includes autonomic regulation, motor organization, state regulation, and attention.... Cold brachythecium moss(Brachythecium frigidum)... is a shiny moss that can be green, brownish, rich golden or golden brown in colour, that exists in moderately dense mats. This species is very common in western North America and can be confused with other species despite having distinctive characters. The leaves have a somewhat auriculate base formed by the convex group of enlarged pellucid alar cells, a conspicuous row of large cells across the insertion, strong plication and evenly serrulate to serrate margins. Cold brachythecium moss can be found in soil in wet places, moderate shade to open sun, on rock and fallen trunks. It is found in Alberta and British Columbia in low to high elevations ranging from 0 to 3, 300 [metres above sea level]... 1, record 56, English, - cold%20brachythecium%20moss

Precordial pain constitutes the most common type of chest pain. It is usually located to the left of the sternum, especially in the region the cardiac apex. Such pain may be mild or moderate, is usually fleeting, stabbing, or sticking in character, and is unrelated to physical activity. Although it may occasionally radiate to other areas, it is usually localized. This type of pain tends to occur in the highly emotional or tense person and is rarely caused by organic heart disease. 2, record 72, English, - precordial%20pain

Downy mildew of grape can be a serious disease in... vineyards. This fungus disease develops whenever weather during the growing season is moist and temperatures are cool to moderate. The downy mildew fungus attacks leaves, fruit, shoots and tendrils. The disease may cause premature defoliation in mid to late summer that results in a weakening of the plant and reduced sugar content of the fruit. 2, record 81, English, - downy%20mildew%20of%20grape

On leaves, young infections appear as very small, greenish-yellow, translucent spots that are difficult to see. With time, the lesions enlarge and a white moldy growth composed of fungus threads (mycelium) and spores form on the undersides of the leaves. If lesions are numerous they may merge and cover most of the leaf. Infected leaves eventually turn brown, become dry and drop. Exposed berries may be scalded by the sun. If vines are defoliated before the ripening period, grapes may not mature normally. 2, record 81, English, - downy%20mildew%20of%20grape

2, record 81, French, - mildiou%20de%20la%20vigne

(...) it is impossible to translate the culinary term poêler literally. To poêler, meat or poultry is placed in a good fitting pan or fireproof casserole on sliced pot herbs, seasoned, melted butter poured on top and roasted in oven with the cover on. Shortly before meat is done, cover is taken off to allow the top side to get brown. Moderate temperature is essential for pan roasting. As soon as the meat is browned, it is taken out of the pan, the fat is poured off and the residue deglaced with wine, stock, gravy or sauce and used for making the sauce. 2, record 93, English, - pan%20roast

An airlift pump is a pump that has low suction and moderate discharge of liquid and entrained solids. The pump injects compressed air at the bottom of the discharge pipe which is immersed in the liquid. The compressed air mixes with the liquid causing the air-water mixture to be less dense than the rest of the liquid around it and therefore is displaced upwards through the discharge pipe by the surrounding liquid of higher density. 3, record 96, English, - airlift%20pump
