Optical coherence tomography(OCT) is a non-contact imaging technique which generates cross-sectional images of tissue with high resolution. Therefore it is especially valuable in organs, where traditional microscopic tissue diagnosis by means of biopsy is not available—such as the human eye. Since OCT is completely noninvasive, it provides in vivo images without impacting the tissue that is imaged. Fast scanning rates and quick signal processing allows for image visualization in real time and at video rate.... the resolution of OCT is much higher than that of other medical imaging methods like ultrasound or magnetic resonance imaging(MRI). 3, record 1, English, - optical%20coherence%20tomography

Processing of MRI data is usually performed in an array processor using the Fast Fourier Transform(FFT) algorithm. These computational requirements generally require the input data to be in a matrix whose dimensions are a power of 2, such as 128x128, 256x256, or 512x512. If the acquired k-space data does not complete this matrix, it is customary to fill in the missing cells with zeroes, a technique called zero padding, zero filling, or zero-interpolation filling(ZIP). 2, record 12, English, - zero%20filling

Medial tibial stress syndrome(MTSS) is one of the most common leg injuries in athletes and soldiers. The incidence of MTSS is reported as being between 4% and 35% in military personnel and athletes. The name given to this condition refers to pain on the posteromedial tibial border during exercise, with pain on palpation of the tibia over a length of at least 5 cm. Histological studies fail to provide evidence that MTSS is caused by periostitis as a result of traction. It is caused by bony resorption that outpaces bone formation of the tibial cortex. Evidence for this overloaded adaptation of the cortex is found in several studies describing MTSS findings on bone scan, magnetic resonance imaging(MRI), high-resolution computed tomography(CT) scan and dual energy x-ray absorptiometry. 2, record 19, English, - medial%20tibial%20stress%20syndrome

We propose a finite-element method(FEM) deformable breast model that does not require elastic breast data for nonrigid PET/MRI [positron emission tomography/magnetic resonance imaging] breast image registration. The model is applicable only if the stress conditions in the imaged breast are virtually the same in PET and MRI. Under these conditions, the observed intermodality displacements are solely due to the imaging/reconstruction process. Similar stress conditions are assured by use of an MRI breast-antenna replica for breast support during PET, and use of the same positioning. 3, record 29, English, - breast%2Dantenna

Interventional magnetic resonance imaging(iMRI) is a young, emerging technology that has already been demonstrated to have the potential to complement, or even to replace in part, X-ray-guided procedures. Cine magnetic resonance imaging : A type of imaging technique used primarily in the field of cardiology. By triggering a MRI [magnetic resonance imaging] sequence with prospective ECG [electrocardiographic] gating, numerous short time frames evenly spaced in the cardiac cycle are produced. These images are sequenced together in a cinematic display so that wall motion of the ventricles, valve motion, and blood flow patterns in the heart and great vessels can be visualized. 6, record 41, English, - cine%20magnetic%20resonance%20imaging

WMTS was announced in 1997 with participation from the Government of Manitoba, NRC and WD. The objective of the Strategy was to create new opportunities for economic growth and employment by developing an integrated medical technologies cluster in Manitoba with strong links to other western locations. WMTS activity is based upon technology developed at the NRC' s Institute for Biodiagnostics in Winnipeg and in collaborations with other research centres across the west. Leading edge MRI technology has been commercialized and is being marketed by two private companies that have been deliberately formed as part of the overall commercialization objectives. 1, record 44, English, - Western%20Medical%20Technologies%20Strategy

2, record 44, French, - Western%20Medical%20Technologies%20Strategy

The Market Revenue Insurance Program provides farmers with protection from low commodity prices. Payments are made when the average annual Ontario price for the current crop falls below the support price, which is calculated using 85 per cent of the 15-year indexed moving average price. The program is jointly funded by the provincial and federal governments. Payouts received by producers are reduced by one-third in lieu of a producer premium. The Market Revenue Insurance Program is administered by AGRICORP on behalf of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. 1, record 48, English, - Market%20Revenue%20Insurance%20Program

IRM en pathologie pelvienne gynécologique - [...] Techniques d'examen [...]

2, record 82, French, - examen%20IRM
