Depending on the spatial arrangement of the detectors, the relative calibration error may be constant in one spatial direction. For example, a linear array of detectors may cause relative errors across the image, but since the rest of the image is formed by the motion of the sensor platform, the relative error is constant down the columns of the image. Un troisième traitement, d'ordre radiométrique, consiste à supprimer ce que les spécialistes appellent parfois «l'effet pyjama». Le système de prise de vues d'un satellite d'observation est, en effet, constitué de milliers de petits détecteurs disposés en rangés parallèles. Comme tout matériel de ce niveau de sensibilité, les détecteurs ne vieillissent pas tous de la même manière. Au bout d'un certain temps de vie, on constate dans les prises de vue des variations de contraste entre les différentes zones du cliché, avec une alternance de bandes plus sombres et plus claires. Il faut retravailler l'image pour obtenir un contraste uniforme ce qui permet de rendre invisibles les limites entre les images et donne l'impression à l'observateur de ne voir qu'une seule et même image alors qu'il est en possession d'une multitude de clichés d'images brutes assemblés.

REED is an international scholarly project that is establishing for the first time the broad context from which the great drama of Shakespeare and his contemporaries grew. REED examines this historical MSS that provide external evidence of drama, secular music, and other communal entertainment and ceremony from the Middle Ages until 1642, when the Puritans closed the London theatres. Although the project is based at Victoria University in the University of Toronto, REED's internal governance is provided by the Executive Board in early drama and related fields.

Engineering Cockpit Simulator consists of a transport aircraft cockpit with all instrumentation and flight dynamics driven by a network of high-end graphics workstations. The software can simulate nearly any commercial transport aircraft, using five networked graphics computer machines, including an out-the-window display. Classified as a flight-training device, the simulator uses high-resolution, computer-generated images, to graphically depict airplane controls and displays that are located on the forward instrument panel. To increase fidelity, some aircraft components are installed, including throttle quadrant, flight mode control panel, flight management systems, control yokes, landing gear handle assembly, and rudder pedals.

BOEING 747 ENGINEERING COCKPIT SIMULATOR(ECS).... The ECS uses a software package distributed by CTA Simulation Systems called Mission Simulator Software(MSS) to model flight dynamics and depict aircraft instruments. Out of the window(OTW) scenery is generated using Microsoft Flight Simulator with an infinity optics display system. The software is flexible, allowing the simulation of nearly any commercial transport aircraft.
