Denosumab is a fully human monoclonal antibody for the treatment of osteoporosis, treatment-induced bone loss, bone metastases, multiple myeloma, and giant cell tumor of bone... Denosumab is designed to inhibit RANKL(RANK ligand), a protein that acts as the primary signal for bone removal. In many bone loss conditions, RANKL overwhelms the body's natural defenses against bone destruction. 2, record 1, English, - denosumab

Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 CONT
2, record 1, French, - d%C3%A9nosumab
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 2 CONT
3, record 1, French, - d%C3%A9nosumab

Geographic bone destruction. The geographic pattern is the least aggressive pattern of bone destruction, as it is generally indicative of a slow-growing lesion. The margin of the lesion is well defined and easily separated from the surrounding normal bone. This margin may be smooth or irregular, but in either instance, it is usually clearly demarcated, with a short zone of transition from normal to abnormal bone. Benign bone tumors usually demonstrate geographic bone destruction. Malignant diseases(such as plasma cell myeloma and metastasis) and osteomyelitis(particularly granulomatous infections) can demonstrate a similar pattern of bone destruction, however. 1, record 4, English, - geographic%20bone%20destruction
