Special operations forces and support helicopter landing zones are generally covert. FP [force protection] is achieved by employing use of terrain and CCD [camouflage, concealment and deception] procedures. The FP presence must be balanced with the need to preserve operational secrecy. FP will normally be provided by the SOF [special operations force] units that are being supported. In the event of ground attack, the task of FP will be to warn landing zone personnel and to delay the attackers until the helicopters are able to depart. 1, record 3, English, - special%20operations%20forces%20and%20support%20helicopter%20landing%20zone

1, record 3, French, - zone%20de%20poser%20pour%20les%20forces%20d%26rsquo%3Bop%C3%A9rations%20sp%C3%A9ciales%20et%20les%20h%C3%A9licopt%C3%A8res%20de%20soutien

Collateral pledging and valuation--1. DCS [Debt Clearing Service] not available at all--An emergency in DCS can affect LVTS [Large Value Transfer System] in at least two different ways. Firstly, a failure in DCS could affect the ability of participants to pledge collateral for LVTS purposes. In this case the Association would need to communicate with CDS to determine the expected time for CDS [Canadian Depository for Securities Limited] to be back up and fully operational. At this point, a decision would have to be made by CDS whether to move to CDS's interim manual pledging mechanism. Any delay in the availability of the DCS pledging function of more than two(2) hours would require the move to the interim pledging mechanism. 1, record 4, English, - interim%20manual%20pledging%20mechanism

1, record 4, French, - m%C3%A9canisme%20manuel%20provisoire%20de%20remise%20en%20nantissement
