TOS is an agreement between the CF [Canadian Forces] and individuals specifying the duration of service and providing the framework for managing personnel flow within military occupations in the CF.

Special operations forces and support helicopter landing zones are generally covert. FP [force protection] is achieved by employing use of terrain and CCD [camouflage, concealment and deception] procedures. The FP presence must be balanced with the need to preserve operational secrecy. FP will normally be provided by the SOF [special operations force] units that are being supported. In the event of ground attack, the task of FP will be to warn landing zone personnel and to delay the attackers until the helicopters are able to depart. 1, record 36, English, - special%20operations%20forces%20and%20support%20helicopter%20landing%20zone

The Human Resources Council(HRC) was founded in 1992 as the Personnel Renewal Council(PRC), to be a strong voice for Heads of Human Resources and the HR community on issues affecting the strategic direction of HR management in the Public Service. The PRC changed its name to the Human Resources Council in November 1998. The HRC will continue to strengthen its current role as an independent strategic advisor. Specifically, the HRC will work to influence the direction of, and provide support to, the Central Agencies on the development of HR policy and the development of the HR Community on major issues of concern. In fulfilling this role, the HRC will identify HR management's needs and the operational impact of Central Agency HR policy initiatives and approaches on service delivery to Canadians and on the delivery of HR services within departments, agencies and separate employers, including advising Central Agencies whenever capacity issues need to be addressed or taken into account. The HRC will selectively address key elements of the HR framework and key strategic issues affecting the HR function, in accordance with the HRC vision and strategic agenda, which it will set annually in partnership with Central Agencies. The HRC will act as a driver and influencer. 1, record 49, English, - Human%20Resources%20Council

1, record 49, French, - Conseil%20des%20ressources%20humaines
