Record number: 2, Textual support number: 1 CONT
This jump is called a static-line jump because from the moment you step into the aircraft you will be securely attached to a 'static line’ which is designed to automatically open your parachute for you as you exit the aircraft. 5, record 2, English, - static%2Dline%20jump
Record number: 2, Textual support number: 2 CONT
After completing your first static-line jump you have begun your progression towards freefall and ultimately a solo skydiving qualification under the BPA Ram Air Progression System. 6, record 2, English, - static%2Dline%20jump

Record number: 2, Textual support number: 2 CONT

Record number: 2, Textual support number: 1 OBS

Record number: 3, Textual support number: 1 CONT
Total malfunctions are situations in which nothing happens when you pull the ripcord(AFF or Tandem jump), or when the static line gets caught and prevents you from disconnecting from the aircraft. The result of both these situations is that no parachute opens and you continue in freefall. Rely on your jumpmaster to explain how to handle the situation for the type of jump you are going to make. 3, record 3, English, - total%20malfunction
Record number: 3, Textual support number: 2 CONT
A complete malfunction provides you no lift capability, therefore you must activate your reserve parachute. 2, record 3, English, - total%20malfunction

1, record 3, French, - d%C3%A9faillance%20g%C3%A9n%C3%A9rale
