The Professional Disc Golf Association is the game's governing body. This non-profit organization... remains dedicated to the promotion of disc golf worldwide. Every year the PDGA sanctions hundreds of tournaments and competitions for both professional and amateur players. Competitors earn points by participating in these events, which are tabulated by the PDGA and used to determine invitations to the annual World Disc Golf Championships, and other events.
