Skin-fermented or skin-contact white wines are white wines that have had extended contact with grape skins. This is unique, because typically, white wines do not spend time on their skins during fermentation. When white wine grapes are pressed, only the juice is fermented. Whereas, when red wines and rosés are fermented and pressed, they spend time on the skins (much less time for rosés than for reds). This extended skin contact is what gives wines their color and tannin. [They are] often known as "orange wines" due to their color ... 8, record 1, English, - orange%20wine
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 OBS
Some orange wines are indeed orange, but some can be pale pink or deep amber. This comes down to the grape variety and the amount of time the juice spent with the skins. 9, record 1, English, - orange%20wine

6, record 1, French, - vin%20orange

Snow Nose : Dog Nose Turning Pink. Your dog's nose is changing color and you try to understand what's happening? If your dog's nose has changed its color from black or brown to pink he might have a snow nose.... In some cases, the fading pigment is not too bad and affects only the center of the nose. In other cases, the dogs have a solid pink nose with only some tiny speckles of pigment by the time the color fading stops. Typically, there is some of the original pigment left around the nose's upper rim.... But it seems to be possible to breed away from this type of nose hypopigmentation, at least to some degree. 3, record 14, English, - snow%20nose

... some dogs start to lose some of their nose pigment as they age. ... In many cases, a dog’s nose is getting lighter in winter and gets back some pigment during summer. Due to the seasonality of this phenomenon, ... people call it a "snow nose" or "winter nose." 3, record 14, English, - snow%20nose

A lognormal error is usually assumed in the traditional stock–recruitment(SR) analysis.... a positive bias results when [a] SR model with [a] lognormal error is used for fish recruitment prediction. Not only is this bias exponentially dependent on the structure of the model' s residual variance and the historical SR data, it is also dependent on the specific value of spawner biomass used.... a bias correction that is asymptotically unbiased with a finite-sample biasthat is practically zero [is then derived]. Data from two Pacific salmon populations, southeast Alaska pink salmon... and Chilko Lake sockeye salmon... are used to demonstrate this approach. The results show that the relative bias is about 10% for a spawning biomass within the historical range and that the bias is substantial outside that data range. However, with the proposed bias correction, the bias is negligible both within(<0. 1%) and outside of(<0. 3%) the data range. 2, record 15, English, - bias%20correction

Record number: 91, Textual support number: 2 OBS
2, record 91, French, - mouche%20principale
