The Paris Motor Show(French : Mondial de l'Automobile) is a biennial auto show in Paris. Held in the autumn, it is one of the most important auto shows, often with many new production automobile and concept car debuts. The show was the first motor show in the world, started in 1898 by industry pioneer, Albert de Dion. The show takes place in Paris Expo in Porte de Versailles. The Mondial is scheduled by the Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs d’Automobiles, which considers it a major international auto show. Until 1986 it was called Salon de l'Auto. Le Mondial de l'automobile est un salon international automobile qui se déroule tous les deux ans, vers la troisième semaine d'octobre, à Paris, au Parc des expositions de la porte de Versailles. Le Jardin des Tuileries reçoit en 1898 la première exposition internationale d'automobiles jamais réalisée dans le monde à l'intiative de l'Automobile Club de France. L'opération remporte un vif succès puisque 140 000 visiteurs viennent découvrir les 232 modèles exposés. En 1901, l'exposition prendra toute son importance en s'installant au Grand Palais. Mais, à nouveau, les organisateurs doivent trouver un autre lieu devant l'engouement des visiteurs et le nombre toujours croissant de modèles présentés. Le Mondial de l'automobile de Paris est un salon se tenant tous les deux ans (avant 1976, il était annuel), les années paires, qui se tient depuis 1962 au parc des expositions de la porte de Versailles; les années impaires se tient au Salon de Francfort. The Ontario Agricultural Hall of Fame Association was incorporated in 1979 as a non-profit association under the Corporations Act of Ontario. The Hall of Fame opened June 1st, 1980 with the induction of nine pioneer agriculturists, all deceased and who represent more than 100 years of combined efforts and initiative in building a better agriculture for the Province.
