Originally, keyboard tablatures must have suggested a practical link to the keys of the instrument. Indeed, the anonymous tenth-century Bern organ treatise... describes the presence of pitch names, for the performer's visual reference, written directly on the keys of the organ. If letters of the alphabet could be used in this way, it is just as conceivable that numbers could have been used in a similar manner. Thus, the origin of "German" keyboard tablatures may be associated with the practice of lettered keys, and the origin of "Spanish" tablatures may, at least hypothetically, be associated with numbered keys. 2, record 1, English, - keyboard%20tablature

ACMRI has four basic sub-systems. First is a sidewinder-shaped external pod which attaches to the aircraft's missile mounting rack and contains instrumentation independent of the aircraft's own systems to measure altitude, airspeed, Mach number, angle of attack and sideslip, plus a compact inertial sensor which measures pitch, roll, heading and acceleration/deceleration. The instrumentation package... also contains a transponder-like radio link which transmits all this information down on command from the second sub-system, the ground tracking station network... the third sub-system-the Control and Computation facility... precise aircraft position determination, and data formatting prior to reaching the fourth... sub-system... the Display and Debriefing Sub-system. 3, record 2, English, - air%20combat%20manoeuvering%20range%20instrumentation

Calibrated chain is required for use with anchor windlasses. There are many different calibrations of chain around the world, all different in size. It is critical that the chain selected is properly matched to the gipsy of the windlass. Our short link calibrated chain fits Simpson Lawrence gipsies as well as others. Made of low carbon content mild steel, it is electrically welded for high strength and then hot dip galvanised to minimise corrosion. Calibration ensures even pitch and also pre-stresses the chain to beyond normal service loads. 2, record 3, English, - calibrated%20chain
