"delivered at frontier" means that the seller delivers when the goods are placed at the disposal of the buyer on the arriving means of transport not unloaded, cleared for export, but not cleared for import at the named point and place at the frontier, but before the customs border of the adjoining country. The term "frontier" may be used for any frontier including that of the country of export. Therefore, it is of vital importance that the frontier in question be defined precisely by always naming the point and place in the term. However, if the parties wish the seller to be responsible for the unloading of the goods from the arriving means of transport and to bear the risks and costs of unloading, this should be made clear by adding explicit wording to this effect in the contract of sale. This term may be used irrespective of the mode of transport when goods are to be delivered at a land frontier. When delivery is to take place in the port of destination, on board a vessel or on the quay(wharf), the DES or DEQ terms should be used. 3, record 14, English, - delivered%20at%20frontier

4, record 14, French, - rendu%20fronti%C3%A8re

A sewage pump is an essential component of any waste processing system. While most plumbing systems rely on gravity to bring the waste material down to the sewer level to be processed, occasionally the sewage line is on higher ground than where the waste is originating from. In these cases, a sewage lift pump must be used to counter the effects of gravity and transport the waste matter to its destination.... A sewage lift pump, the primary component of a sewage lift system, is essentially a large tank in which waste water and material collect. Within the tank is a float device which raises and lowers depending on the level of waste in the tank at any given point in time. When the tank fills with waste matter and the float rises to a certain point within it, the sewage lift pump activates. The lift pump essentially forces the waste water and material up through a series of pipes to the sewer or septic lines where it will continue to be processed. As the lift pump moves more material from the tank, the float will begin to lower. Once it reaches a certain point towards the bottom of the tank, it will trigger the lift pump to shut off. All sewage lift pumps also have a built-in alarm that will sound if the float fails to operate correctly. 3, record 23, English, - sewage%20lift%20pump

In current usage, "road" is applied as a general term for all broad main ways that have a smoothed or paved surface. A road in a city is usually called a "street. "The English word "route" is more specific than "road. "It usually refers to an indirect way of reaching a certain point or to a course taken to reach a destination, thus a "route" can include many roads. Vehicular ways of secondary importance in rural areas are often called "roads, "while those of primary importance are called "highways. " 1, record 26, English, - road

6, record 28, French, - carnet%20de%20route%20d%27a%C3%A9ronef

Meridian convergency error is caused... by the fact that lines of longitude(meridians) converge as they approach the poles. If the spin axis of a D. G. Meridian convergency error is caused... by the fact that lines of longitude(meridians) converge as they approach the poles. If the spin axis of a D. G. [directional gyro] is aligned with a meridian at one point on the earth's surface and then flown to a different location in any direction other than due north or south, it will remain aligned with the original meridian because of it's tendency to remain in one orientation in space. Due to the convergency of the meridians, the gyro will not be aligned with the destination meridian. The angle between the D. G. spin axis and the destination meridian is the convergency error. 1, record 51, English, - meridian%20convergency%20error

3, record 51, French, - erreur%20due%20%C3%A0%20la%20convergence%20des%20m%C3%A9ridiens

[Concerning] the rail barge service on Kootenay Lake..., the barges were built uniquely to accommodate rail traffic. There are rails on each barge which link up with rails on the wharves of each point of origin and of destination, thereby enabling railway cars to be transported from one point on Kootenay Lake to another without themselves being loaded and unloaded. 1, record 85, English, - rail%20barge%20service
