This paper presents a simple and effective method for matching two uncalibrated images. Corner points are firstly extracted as interest points in the two images. Each interest point is assigned one dominant orientation. The initial set of point matches is then obtained by singular value decomposition of a correspondence strength matrix. A new expression of this matrix is introduced to handle more complicated imaging conditions. Each element of this matrix is the similarity measure between two interest points. The new similarity measure is invariant to image rotation by taking into account the dominant orientation of the two interest points. The epipolar geometry constraint is finally imposed to reject the false matches. Experimental results on real images show this approach to be effective for general image matching. 4, record 3, English, - singular%20value%20decomposition

Hood Ventilation. Air is an important part of the paper drying process. Depending on what type of hood arrangement is used, from 7 to 20 pounds of air are utilized for each pound of water evaporated.... The early dryer hoods consisted of little more than a false ceiling with exhaust fans. All the process air was sucked from the machine room and was not effectively utilized.... The modern generation of hoods(the so-called "high-dew point hoods") are well sealed and insulated. Diffusion air is totally eliminated, and the amount of fresh makeup air is sharply reduced by operating at high temperature with partial recycle. 1, record 10, English, - high%2Ddew%20point%20hood

1, record 10, French, - hotte%20%C3%A0%20point%20de%20ros%C3%A9e%20%C3%A9lev%C3%A9

A facsimile printing process employing a moist, electrolyte-impregnated, roll-fed paper. The current(signal) is applied by feeding the paper between a stationary contact and a revolving drum with a helical contactor. The revolving of the drum causes the point of electrical contact between the blade and helical wire to move laterally across the paper, one line per revolution. As the electrical current passes through the paper, it causes a dark change of coloration at all points of contact. 1, record 14, English, - electrolytic%20process
