Record number: 2, Textual support number: 1 CONT
The cross-linked polymer most commonly employed for enzyme entrapment is polyacrylamide gel, and it has been used for the immobilization of many enzymes. The procedure for the formation of polyacrylamide gel is identical to that employed for the preparation of gel commonly used for disc electrophoresis. 3, record 2, English, - disc%20electrophoresis
Record number: 2, Textual support number: 1 OBS
The term "disc" was originally proposed by the inventor primarily to express the idea of discontinuity, secondarily to reflect the discoid shape of the separate bands. 4, record 2, English, - disc%20electrophoresis

2, record 2, French, - %C3%A9lectrophor%C3%A8se%20discontinue

Capillary gel electrophoresis(CGE) is the CE-analog of traditional slab-gel electrophoresis and is used for the size-based separation of biological macromolecules such as olgonucleotides, DNA restriction fragments and proteins. The separation is performed by filling the capillary with a sieve-like matrix, for example, cross-linked polyacrylamide, agarose or even solutions of linear polymer. The main advantages over slab-gel electrophoresis are a wider range of gel matrix and composition, online detection, improved quantification and automation. 1, record 3, English, - capillary%20gel%20electrophoresis

1, record 3, French, - %C3%A9lectrophor%C3%A8se%20capillaire%20en%20gel
