We have generally found that irradiated merrotitre plates have a greater capacity than non-irradiated plates to bind allergen or whole cells. Once bound, the allergen can become detached from the plate and this is particularly critical if it occurs during the assay... One solution to this problem is to link the antigen to the plate via an antibody in a sandwich ELISA(SELISA). Polyclonal rabbit and mouse monoclonal antibodies have been used to bind allergens to microtiter plates. 1, record 2, English, - sandwich%20enzyme%2Dlinked%20immunosorbent%20assay

1, record 2, French, - technique%20immunoenzymatique%20en%20sandwich

Cryoglobulins are classified as Type I, monoclonal immunoglobulins; Type II, immune complexes involving immunoglobulins with antibody activity against polyclonal immunoglobulins; or Type III, immune complexes involving polyclonal immunoglobulins; in most cases, these are globulin-antiglobulin immune complexes like type II complexes. Types I and II occur in plasma cell dyscrasias and lymphoproliferative disorders Types II and III occur in autoimmune disease such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus and Sjogren's syndrome. 2, record 3, English, - cryoglobulin

2, record 4, French, - anticorps%20polyclonal

By analogy with immunochemistry and immunohistology. Example : Immunochemistry Technologies, LLC. Antibody purification monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies can be purified and concentrated to meet your specific assay requirements. Protein A and protein G purification matrices are routinely used to selectively adsorb polyclonal IgG from most animal sera. Purified monoclonal IgG can be obtained from ascites or cell culture media using these methods as well.(Excerpt from INTERNET). 2, record 5, English, - immunohistochemistry
