Semantic variant primary progressive aphasia(svPPA) is one of the language variants of frontotemporal dementia(FTD). In this variant, selective degeneration of the left anterior temporal lobe leads to a loss of semantic memory. Typical symptoms include poor confrontation naming, impaired single word comprehension, poor object/person knowledge, surface dyslexia, spared repetition, and spared motor speech with relatively preserved behavior and cognition. 1, record 1, English, - semantic%20variant%20primary%20progressive%20aphasia

One of the key perceptual errors that contributes to accidents on the road is “looking but failing to see”. Though this has previously been attributed to failures of attention or time gaps, the recent change blindness literature suggests another alternative. Researchers have proposed that we have a poor memory for the visual world, and as such, participants find it very hard to notice a change between two successive pictures providing the transients that normally catch attention are masked. 3, record 3, English, - change%20blindness

3, record 3, French, - c%C3%A9cit%C3%A9%20au%20changement
