Saint Joseph's Day, commonly called the Feast of St. Joseph or in some churches, the Solemnity of Saint Joseph is marked in some Christian churches in honor of Saint Joseph, spouse of Mary and foster-father of Jesus. It is a Solemnity in the Roman Catholic Church, and a feast or festival in the Lutheran Church, and a feast in the provinces of the Anglican Communion, falling on 19 March. In the Orthodox Church, the Feast falls on the Sunday after Christmas. Saint Bernardino of Siena was the main proponent of Joseph's veneration in the western Church, where his feast day was first celebrated in 1621. In 1870, Pope Pius IX declared Joseph the patron of the Universal Church, and promoted the "Patronage" feast(later Solemnity, before the Vatican II calendar's use of such term) of Saint Joseph on the third Wednesday after Easter; this was replaced in 1955 by the feast of St. Joseph the Worker. As Joseph was a carpenter(or a builder), he is also the patron saint of workers. 1, record 20, English, - Saint%20Joseph%26rsquo%3Bs%20Day

St. Stephen's Day in Hungary is observed on August 20, the day on which the allegedly sacred relics of Stephen I of Hungary were transferred to the city of Buda. This day is the ultimate public holiday in Hungary. Stephen I, or "Stephanus" as he was named in Latin by Pope Sylvester II, was originally a pagan chieftain's son answering to the name "Vajk". He gouged out the eyes and poured boiling lead into the ears of his arch rival(Vasoly) and was awarded a crown by the pope for forcing catholicism onto the Hungarian people. The converted king was canonized by Pope Gregory VII in AD 1083 and has since been referred to as St Stephen of Hungary. Under communism St. Stephen's Day was referred to by the Hungarians as "The celebration of the new bread-the end of the harvest". 1, record 21, English, - St%2E%20Stephen%26rsquo%3Bs%20Day

Magna Carta(Latin for "Great Charter", literally "Great Paper"), also called Magna Carta Libertatum("Great Charter of Freedoms"), is an English charter originally issued in 1215. Magna Carta was the most significant early influence on the long historical process that led to the rule of constitutional law today. Magna Carta was originally created because of disagreements between Pope Innocent III, King John and his English barons about the rights of the King. Magna Carta required the king to renounce certain rights, respect certain legal procedures and accept that the will of the king could be bound by law. 1, record 22, English, - Magna%20Carta

2, record 22, Spanish, - Carta%20Magna

This feast is celebrated in the Latin Church on the Thursday after Trinity Sunday to solemnly commemorate the institution of the Holy Eucharist. The instrument in the hand of Divine Providence was St. Juliana of Mont Cornillon, in Belgium. She was born in 1193 at Retines near Liège. Orphaned at an early age, she was educated by the Augustinian nuns of Mont Cornillon. Here she in time made her religious profession and later became superioress. Intrigues of various kinds several times drove her from her convent. She died 5 April, 1258, at the House of the Cistercian nuns at Fosses, and was buried at Villiers. Juliana, from her early youth, had a great veneration for the Blessed Sacrement, and always longed for a special feast in its honour. This desire is said to have been increased by a vision of the Church under the appearance of the full moon having one dark spot, which signified the absence of such a solemnity. She made known her ideas to Robert de Thorete, then Bishop of Liège, to the learned Dominican Hugh, later cardinal legate in the Netherlands, and to Jacques Pantaléon, at that time Archedeacon of Liège, afterwards Bishop of Verdun, Patriarch of Jerusalem and finally Pope Urban IV. 1, record 23, English, - Corpus%20Christi

There is often confusion between the terms Nuncios and apostolic delegates. The nuncios are usually titular bishops or archbishops and have a double function : representing the pope before the civil government and also before the Church in the country. The apostolic delegates on the other hand deal only with the church within the country to which they are sent and they are not accredited to the government and do not have a political role. 2, record 28, English, - apostolic%20delegate
