Of the SOLIDAGE Research Group. Since 1997, a group of researchers, clinicians and administrators from the Centre for Clinical Epidemiology and Community Studies at the Jewish General Hospital, Montreal, Quebec, and from the Maimonides Geriatric Centre, Montreal have worked together to promote the development of the Collaborative Research Network in Long-Term Care. Goals of the Network : To elaborate and to complete research projects developed by Network members. Research projects may involve any clinical field of geriatrics(medical and paramedical), with an emphasis on an interdisciplinary approach. To collaborate with other research groups who also wish to develop projects involving a frail population living in long-term care facilities. To provide access to resource people(epidemiologists, statisticians) to facilitate the realization of projects. Du Groupe de recherche SOLIDAGE. Depuis 1997, un groupe de chercheurs, cliniciens et administrateurs du Centre d'épidémiologie clinique et de recherche en santé publique de l'Hôpital général juif, Montréal, Québec, ainsi que du Centre gériatrique Maimonides, Montréal, travaille à développer le Réseau de collaboration pour la recherche en soins de longue durée. Le Réseau a pour buts : L'élaboration et l'accomplissement de projets de recherche développés par les membres du Réseau, dans tous les domaines (médicaux et paramédicaux) qui touchent la distribution des soins aux personnes âgées qui résident en centre hospitalier de soins de longue durée (CHSLD). La collaboration avec d'autres groupes de recherche qui sont également intéressés à développer des projets qui impliquent la population des personnes âgées vivant en institution. L'accès à des personnes ressources (épidémiologistes, statisticiens) du domaine de la recherche, pour faciliter et mener à bien les projets. In 1995, the Canadian Governments On-Line(CGOL) team launched an on-line service, Intergovernmental On-Line Information Centre, or InterGov, to be used as a work and research tool for governments and the general population. The InterGov site's primary role is to provide access to and information on official government services and information provide on-line by governments in Canada. Every effort is made not to duplicate information that is already provided by an official government source in Canada before any content is actually stored on the service. L'équipe Gouvernements canadiens en direct (GCED) lançait en 1995 un nouveau service en direct qui serait un outil de travail pour les différents ministères mais également pour la population, le Centre d'information en direct intergouvernemental, ou InterGov. Le but de ce site est de fournir au public un point d'accès facile à toute l'information et à tous les services fournis par les gouvernements à travers le Canada en dirigeant les usagers vers leurs pages d'accueil officielles établies. L'équipe s'efforce de ne pas dédoubler l'information déjà disponible auprès d'une autre source officielle gouvernementale au Canada en effectuant des vérifications avant de charger l'information dans ce service.
