... gyros and accelerometers have an offset, known as bias. The gyro bias for instance, shows itself after integration as an angular drift, increasing rise linearly over time(ramp)... To compensate for sensor drift, a process called augmentation is used, whereby gyro and acceleration errors are compensated by utilising other system states. For instance the angular drift error of a gyro after integration can be compensated, if true angular measurements are taken. Comparing the two shows then the gyro drift. Assuming that inertial systems are generally operated around an equilibrium position and thus linear acceleration integrates to zero over time, then attitude can be processed via gravitational acceleration, thus giving true angular measurements to compensate gyro drift. 1, record 4, English, - angular%20drift

Fine Beam. The fine beam mode is intended for applications which require the best spatial resolution available from the RADARSAT system. The azimuth resolution is 8. 4 m, with range resolution 9. 1 m to 7. 8 m from F1 to F5. Since the radar operates with a higher sampling rate in this mode than in any of the other beam modes, the ground swath coverage has to be reduced to a nominal 50 km in order to keep the downlink signal within its allocated bandwidth. Originally, five fine beam positions, F1 to F5, were available to cover the far range of the swath, the incidence angle range from 37 to 47 degrees. By modifying timing parameters, 10 new positions have been added with offset ground coverage. Each original fine beam position can either be shifted closer to or further away from Nadir. 2, record 8, English, - fine%20beam

The roll-out, or running, pass is usually a short pass-five or six yards-and can be «thrown» into the flat easily. It is usually a true option run-pass which helps offset a strong pass rush from the inside. Although it doesn’t take a great passer to execute this play, the roll-out pass does require a considerable amount of time and practice to perfect. The quarterback sprints out at controlled speed, while holding the ball in a «ready position» and looks immediately to the area he is running toward. 1, record 12, English, - roll%2Dout%20pass

1, record 12, French, - passe%20hors%20l%27aile
