Embedded GPS INS. The EGI is in an all-attitude navigation system providing outputs of linear and angular acceleration, velocity, position, attitude(roll, pitch, and platform azimuth), magnetic and true heading, altitude, time tags, and time. When installed in the host platforms in the appropriate configuration, the system provides the navigation functions of the equipment it replaces. It uses vehicle electrical power(28 Vdc), turn-on and mode commands, initialization data, and altitude data, as well as Global Positioning System(GPS) satellite inputs for GPS or GPS/Inertial Navigation System(INS) operation, and is able to track five space vehicles simultaneously. 1, record 1, English, - all%2Dattitude%20navigation%20system

1, record 1, French, - syst%C3%A8me%20de%20navigation%20toutes%20attitudes

Accurate positioning of the aircraft is essential during image acquisition. Accuracy of ± 1 m is achieved using a DGPS. Downelling irradiance is recorded so as to take into account the space-time variations in the solar altitude and the transparency of the atmosphere that occurs during image acquisition. A gyroscopic sensor records the data needed to correct the geometric distortions of the images. These distortions are due to variations in the attitude of the aircraft(essentially the roll). The ground resolution depends on the altitude from which the images are collected. 1, record 2, English, - gyroscopic%20sensor

Roll film having sprocket holes accurately located along one or both edges to aid in transporting and positioning the film for successive exposures in a camera. Earlier designs of microfilm cameras utilized the perforations in advancing the film. Since the presence of the perforations substantially reduced the usable area of the film, most contemporary camera designs utilize film-advance mechanisms that do not require perforations in the film. 1, record 5, English, - perforated%20film

1, record 5, French, - film%20perfor%C3%A9
