Environment Canada has launched People and Jobs, an electronic inventory to help their employees match their skills and career interests with available job opportunities both inside and outside the Department. The system allows users to search for job opportunities by specific criteria such as job group and level or geographic location. It also allows users to input their resumes and make them available to managers who are staffing positions. Environnement Canada a lancé «Des travailleurs et des emplois», un répertoire électronique destiné à aider ses employés à harmoniser leurs compétences et leurs intérêts professionnels aux possibilités d'emploi offertes à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur du Ministère. Ce nouveau système permet aux usagers de chercher des possibilités d'emploi d'après des critères particuliers notamment le groupe et le niveau du poste ou le lieu géographique du poste. Il permet également aux usagers d'entrer leur curriculum vitæ et de le mettre à la disposition des gestionnaires qui procèdent à la dotation en personnel de certains postes.
