Given these findings, it remains questionable as to why older perpetrators are so often excluded from child-to-parent abuse research. It could be argued that examination of adult perpetrators falls within the realm of elder abuse. However, Stewart, Burns and Leonard conducted interviews with abused mothers and found that victimization by their adult children was salient to their accounts. It is for these reasons that future child-to-parent abuse research must include adult perpetrators. 2, record 1, English, - abused%20mother

A bodybuilding exercise performed by completing the following movements: stand in front of a barbell and, while keeping the legs slightly bent and less than a shoulder-width apart, bend over to grab the bar with an overhand grip (palms facing down or towards the body), hands slightly more than a shoulder-width apart. Keeping the arms straight and legs slightly bent, raise the barbell until you are standing straight, using only the hip and lower back muscles. Return the bar to approximately shin level between each repetition, and then to the floor after each set. 7, record 5, English, - straight%2Dleg%20deadlift
Record number: 5, Textual support number: 1 OBS
Like the Romanian deadlift, this exercise is not a true deadlift because the bar is not raised from the ground with each repetition. It differs from the Romanian deadlift in that the legs are slightly closer to each other and are kept straight (not locked). 7, record 5, English, - straight%2Dleg%20deadlift

By applying compression to only a specific area of the breast, the effective pressure can be increased on that spot. This results in better tissue separation and allows better visualization of the small area in question. Compression mammography displays the borders of an abnormality or questionable area better than the standard mammography views. Some sites of the breast that look unusual on the standard mammography images are often shown to be normal tissue on the compression mammography. Instrument calibration is intended to eliminate or reduce bias in an instrument’s readings over a range for all continuous values. Calibration of instruments.-Calibration can be called for : with a new instrument; when a specified time period is elapsed; when a specified usage(operating hours) has elapsed; when an instrument has had a shock or vibration which potentially may have put it out of calibration; whenever observations appear questionable. For gene therapy to realize its clinical potential, there must be efficient and safe strategies of delivering therapeutic genes to somatic cells in vivo. Perhaps this problem simply represents a special case of drug delivery in which the therapeutic gene constitutes the drug. But the relevance of traditional drug development to technological developments in gene therapy is questionable. Recombinant genes that can independently express a therapeutic RNA or protein are extraordinarily large and polar molecules--10, 000 times larger than traditional pharmaceutical agents. Moreover, the administration of genes as therapy requires vehicles--so-called vectors--that encapsulate the gene and guide it to the target cell. The binding of the gene to the cell, its internalization, the transport of the administered genome to the nucleus, and the expression of the gene all constitute potential limitations of this process. 1, record 50, English, - therapeutic%20gene

1, record 51, French, - g%C3%A8ne%20consid%C3%A9r%C3%A9%20comme%20m%C3%A9dicament

There are two forms of injection into deep geologic formations that have been suggested or used for LLW disposal: hydrofracture and deep well injection. Both methods are primarily useful only for liquid or finely ground wastes. They both take precautions to prevent contaminating useful aquifers by carefully selecting the geologic formations into which the waste is injected. Hydrofracture disposal also uses a very insoluble waste form. Generally, hydrofracture involves injection of a mixture of waste and liquid grouting materials under high pressure into a deep layered rock formation such as shale. The injected material causes layers of rock to separate and the material forms flat "sheets" extending out from the injection well. The grout causes some surface uplift near the injection well. 1, record 53, English, - hydrofracture%20disposal
Record number: 53, Textual support number: 2 CONT
Because of difficulty in transporting liquid wastes safely, the hydrofracture facility must be located near the source of the waste. A hydrofracture site requires large, generally impermeable (to nearby aquifers) layered formations that fracture horizontally. The surface area needed and visual impact of a hydrofracture facility are relatively small. Major barriers to nuclide release are the grout (waste form) and the geologic formation used. Perhaps the greatest problem with hydraulic injection is that there is little control of fracture propagation and it is not possible to define the final geometry of the grout/waste sheets from the surface. 2, record 53, English, - hydrofracture%20disposal

2, record 70, French, - test%20de%20la%20bombe%20calorim%C3%A9trique
