L. M. Ericsson has developed a third-generation cordless telephone system(CT3) that offers continuous monitoring of other channels and seamless handoffs.... TDMA/TDD is the underlying technology of CT3. The radio band is divided into frequency channels, and each channel is divided into time slots. A single base station radio handles multiple conversations on a given frequency channel, reducing the cost of cell site equipment. 3, record 4, English, - third%2Dgeneration%20cordless%20telephone
