Rabeprazole is indicated for treatment and maintenance therapy of gastroesophageal reflux disease, healing of duodenal ulcers, and treatment of hypersecretory conditions, including Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It is the third PPI to reach the U. S. market, joining lansoprazole and omeprazole.
