DTED(Digital Terrain Elevation Data) represents a matrix or grid of measured elevation posts over a portion of the earth's surface. The elevation posts are spaced at regular horizontal intervals, measured in Geographic Lat/Long [latitude/longitude] units, with vertical elevation values in meters. Each row of elevation posts is sometimes termed a profile. DTED elevations are in meters, rounded off to the nearest whole meter and stored as signed 2-byte(16-bit) digital numbers.

A square toed shoe is a shoe forged or modified to follow the periphery of the foot from the heels to some point in the toe quarter, then to deviate from the periphery across the toe to the other toe quarter in a line that is fairly straight and relatively perpendicular to the midline of the foot; i. e., instead being rounded at the toe as is a normal shoe, the toe is quared off.

Test for Special Form Radioactive Material.... Percussion test. The material is placed on a lead sheet which is supported by a smooth essentially unyielding surface and struck by the flat face of a steel billet so as to produce an impact equivalent to that resulting from a free fall of 1. 4 kg through 1 m. The flat face of the billet is 25 mm in diameter with the edges rounded off to a radius of 3 mm. The lead, of hardness number 3. 5 to 4. 5 on the Vickers scale and not more than 25 mm thick, covers an area greater than that covered by the material. A fresh surface of lead is used for each impact. The billet strikes the material so as to cause maximum damage.
