National Immunization Coverage Surveys(NICS) are implemented every 2 years by Immunization and Respiratory Infections Division(IRID) of the Public Health Agency of Canada(PHAC) in order to assess national coverage rates for routine childhood immunizations and for select adult immunizations during alternating years. Questions on knowledge, attitudes and beliefs(KAB) towards immunization were added to the Surveys from 1998 onwards. The purpose of these surveys is to monitor immunization coverage levels over a number of years; to assess up-to-date and on-time immunization coverage levels; to evaluate changes in KAB; and to monitor progress towards national immunization coverage goals. 1, record 10, English, - National%20Immunization%20Coverage%20Survey

1, record 10, French, - Enqu%C3%AAte%20nationale%20sur%20la%20vaccination

Good teachers should expose their students to enough situations that the students will become curious enough to take learning into their own hands. In other words, the role of the teacher in a learning-by-doing scenario is to open up interesting problems and to provide tools for solving them when asked by the student to do so. Solving the problem should be its own reward, not getting a grade. The curriculum must be oriented towards, and satisfied with, the idea that students will learn what they need in order to accomplish goals. It is hoped that they will have become curious and acquired both oddball cases and routine scriptlets along the way. 2, record 11, English, - learn%2Dby%2Ddoing%20scenario

The LiMCA II system characterizes the cleanliness of a melt at time intervals of the order of 1 minute. It therefore monitors quasi-continuously, and in real time, the evolution of cleanliness along a cast, as a function of process parameters and melt-handling practices. The impact of furnace preparation, allowing practice, feedstock mix, settling time, and similar parameters on melt cleanliness, is easily determined. The effects of routine casting practices(metal level control, turbulence in the metal distributor) are directly observed as they take place. The time at which inclusion flushing from the holder starts at the end of a cast are determined for different sets of casting parameters, enabling the metallurgist to stop the cast at the right time to minimize the need for heel removal. 1, record 13, English, - liquid%20metal%20cleanliness%20analyser

Single factor job evaluation technique, developed by Professor TT Paterson of Strathclyde University(UK), in which jobs at all levels in a company or organization are analyzed and graded in terms of decision levels. Broadly, the higher the level of decision called for, the greater the value of the job. Six basic levels of decision used in decision band method are, in descending order, policy-making decisions; programming decisions; interpretative decisions; routine decisions; automatic decisions; and vegetative decisions. 2, record 15, English, - decision%20band%20method
