A computer aided routing system(CARS) determines a travel route between a user selected travel origin and travel destination following user selected waypoints along the way. A CARS database incorporates travel information selected from a range of multimedia sources about the transportation routes, waypoints, and geographically locatable points of interest(POIs) selected by the user along the travel route. The CARS software permits user selection of specified POI types within a user defined region of interest and user selection of particular POIs from the selected types within the region of interest. The transportation routes, waypoints, POIs and region of interest are identified in the computer by coordinate locations of a selected geographical coordinate system. The CARS software is constructed to present a user customized travelog for preview on the computer display of the user defined travel route. The travel planner can preview on the computer display a multimedia travelog particularly customized for the user defined travel route including multimedia information on the transportation routes, waypoints, and POIs selected by the user. The user can engage in an iterative trip planning process of revising the route and previewing travelogs of revised travel routes until a satisfactory travel route is determined. 3, record 9, English, - computer%2Daided%20routing%20system

When the Business Partnering Model was first presented, the role of a broker within the Director, Human Resources’ team had been developed whose responsibility was routing all requests to the appropriate service centre, tracking all requests to ensure service standards were met, and providing information to managers and the team on the status of individual service transactions. After long discussions, the broker role was replaced by a Business Line Team(BLT). This team is part of the Organization and Resourcing Services. On a matrix basis, a team will be set up for each client Branch/SOA. Headed by a Senior Consultant, reporting to the Resourcing Manager, the team represents a mix of skills and resources to meet client needs as defined by a service agreement negotiatied by the Director, Human Resources. The Senior Consultant, BLT and his/her team will work in partnership with the Director, HR team and will provide constant feed back on results and issues impacting service delivery to the client. Members of the BLT team are at all levels of the organization from support to officer. The make up of the Business Line Team is reviewed annually based on client business plans and service agreements. The Business Line Team is the client's single point of access for staffing, organization design and classification request. It is also responsible for providing these services in the most strategic and cost-efficient way for the client. The Director, HR team will keep the BLT abreast of any client issue, general direction and priority that might impact on service delivery. 2, record 14, English, - Business%20Line%20Team

2, record 14, French, - %C3%89quipe%20de%20secteur%20d%27activit%C3%A9

The unloading process commences when cars are spotted on tracks leading to a terminal' s trackshed. Cars waiting [to be unloaded] are collectively called a railway shunt. Each carload in a shunt is identified in two ways : first, a shipper's tag is located on the car's routing board which identifies the shipper, point of origin, kind of grain and any other pertinent information; second, a punch card, which contains information obtained from weighbills at an advanced relay point, is attached to the car by the railway. 1, record 25, English, - railway%20shunt

2, record 25, French, - rampe%20de%20triage

For the case of the erbium-doped fiber-optical amplifier, its high performance has been the major impetus to developing amplified lightwave systems for terrestrial and undersea applications. These amplifiers may also compensate losses in distribution systems such as cable television, and in a variety of optical networks, ranging from local area networks to a national information superhighway. New uses of optical amplifiers that will be discussed include their role in wavelength converters and optical phase conjugators, automatic routing in the switching fabric, and optical regeneration of digital data. 1, record 26, English, - erbium%2Ddoped%20fiber%2Doptical%20amplifier
