Motion planning requires exploring the configuration space of a robot or agent in order to find a sequence of feasible actions that maneuver the robot or agent around obstacles to a goal. However, not all motion plans are equal. In optimal motion planning, the objective is to find the best solution that optimizes relevant criteria, such as a path of minimum length, greatest clearance from obstacles, or minimum control effort. 1, record 1, English, - optimal%20motion%20planning

1, record 1, Spanish, - planificaci%C3%B3n%20de%20movimientos%20%C3%B3ptimos

A programming language is a procedural language. It describes precisely, step by step, how something is accomplished. A nonprocedural language describes what is to be done, not how. A query language and a report generator language are nonprocedural. They describe what is needed, not what program instruction will be used to accomplish it. 5, record 12, English, - nonprocedural%20language

4, record 24, French, - sc%C3%A8ne

Sometimes, though, actions will be out of normal sequence. In this case, the program could deal with it by flagging the aberration. For example, because "John carried his groceries to his car and then went and got a basket" is out of sequence, it might be of interest later.
