Silvergrey rockfish have a short, heavy-set body with a sloping head and a large, gaping mouth with a protruding lower jaw. Their dorsal fin is hard and spiny anteriorally, followed by soft rays. As their name implies, they are silvery-grey along their flanks, but are white on their underside and a darker grey or olive on their back.

Broken foot in which the foot axis ... is more upright than the pastern axis ([e.g.] “coon foot”).

A coon foot is sometimes presented as being simply a broken forward digit axis, and sometimes, while still a broken forward axis, as a digit with a pastern at a very low angle, parallel or nearly parallel to the ground. One may presume that in this condition heels will lower and toe will elongate; this is associated with a weak pastern, damage to the suspensory ligament or chronic founder where the horse rocks back on the heels to relieve pressure at the toe.

If it's too long and sloping, called a "coon foot, "the horse's gaits are smoother, but there is more stress on tendons and ligaments, and the horse is more prone to running down(hitting the ground with the back of the fetlock).

The term "coon-footed" refers to a broken forward axis at the coronary band.

Owing to its Thoroughbred ancestry, the Trakehner is of rectangular build, with a long sloping shoulder, good hindquarters, short cannons, and a medium-long, crested and well-set neck. The head is often finely chiseled, narrow at the muzzle, with a broad forehead. It is known for its "floating trot"-full of impulsion and suspension. The Trakehner possesses a strong, medium-length back and powerful hindquarters. Trakehners are athletic and trainable, with good endurance, while some are more spirited than horses of other warmblood breeds.

It’s desirable that the horse should be built slightly uphill (from croup to wither) rather than the opposite, croup high. The croup-high horse will find it more difficult to collect. In collection the horse needs to flex his hocks and lower his croup taking the weight behind; this is called the ability to "sit." Being croup high can also make it easier for a horse to lose balance.

A beautiful, delicate head characterizes the Arabian, often with a "dished" or concave profile below large, prominent eyes; a high-set, arched neck; and a naturally high tail carriage. The back is short and straight; the withers are pronounced and long; the chest is muscular, deep and broad; the shoulders long and sloping; the legs muscular with broad strong joints and clearly defined tendons; and the hooves small with very tough horn, wide at the heel. These points of "type" give the Arabian its distinctive beauty. The ideal height for an Arabian is between 14. 2 and 15 hands and may be chestnut, gray, bay, and black. White markings on the face and legs are common. The coat is fine and silky and the skin is invariably black. The mane and tail are full.

There is no other horse that has the perfect combination of courage, stamina and speed, along with loyalty and gentle affection. Its hot-blooded nature and stunning good looks have been admired for hundreds of years.
