Or, ce maïs est la plus importante culture agricole aux ÉU et qui correspond à près de 40% de la production mondiale de maïs (Kim et Dale, 2004). A clutch brake is a circular metal disc with friction material attached to both sides. Two tangs on the clutch brake match machined slots in the transmission input shaft. The clutch brake is mounted on these slots, between the release bearing and the transmission. This mounting arrangement allows the clutch brake to move back and forth along the input shaft. The purpose of a clutch brake is to stop or slow the input shaft from rotating, allowing the gears to mesh without grinding/clashing. This eliminates damage to non-synchronized transmissions, and minimizes the effort required when shifting from neutral into first or reverse from a standstill. 2, record 30, English, - clutch%20brake

MF-CTCL is a disease of slow progression that is difficult to classify and often, in its early stages, presents a diagnostic challenge, as many of the signs and symptoms are non-specific or easy to confuse with other conditions. Consequently, many patients are misdiagnosed with other dermatological conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. 1, record 40, English, - mycosis%20fungoides%2Dtype%20cutaneous%20T%2Dcell%20lymphoma

Mycosis fungoides(MF) is the most common subtype of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma(CTCL). It is an indolent(slow growing) non-Hodgkin lymphoma(NHL) that develops over many years or even decades. It accounts for around half of all skin lymphomas. Mycosis fungoides(MF) starts in the skin and tends to remain only in the skin. MF can appear as patches, plaques or tumours. MF often occurs in areas of the skin that are protected from the sun by clothing. 3, record 41, English, - mycosis%20fungoides

Less visible on the modern landscape is production [of salt] by evaporation of brine in pots over fires, a technique that leaves "briquetage. "This is a term that archaeologists use worldwide to describe the broken pots used for evaporating brine over fires.... At Sacapulas, brine collected from a spring is poured through salty soil in large containers with holes in the bottom to enrich the salt content of the brine. The enriched brine is then poured into a couple of dozen open bowls elevated above a slow fire on a table inside a building. By continuously pouring brine into the bowls, the water slowly evaporates, and loose salt fills the bowls; the salt is then transferred into a large jar. Sometimes salt is further heated to form solid cakes, in which case the bowls must be broken to extract the salt cakes. 3, record 62, English, - salt%20cake

To penetrate a target, KE projectiles rely on velocity and not an explosive charge.... 2, record 71, French, - glissement%20antig%C3%A9nique

Recession is a normal, albeit unpleasant, part of the business cycle. Recessions are characterized by a rash of business failures and often bank failures, slow or negative growth in production, and elevated unemployment. The economic pain caused by recessions, though temporary, can have major effects that alter an economy. This can occur due to structural shifts in the economy as vulnerable or obsolete firms, industries, or technologies fail and are swept away; dramatic policy responses by government and monetary authorities, which can literally rewrite the rules for businesses; or social and political upheaval resulting from widespread unemployment and economic distress. 4, record 75, English, - economic%20recession

The oceans are mostly composed of warm salty water near the surface over cold, less salty water in the ocean depths. These two regions don’t mix except in certain special areas. The ocean currents, the movement of the ocean in the surface layer, are driven mostly by the wind. In certain areas near the polar oceans, the colder surface water also gets saltier due to evaporation or sea ice formation. In these regions, the surface water becomes dense enough to sink to the ocean depths. This pumping of surface water into the deep ocean forces the deep water to move horizontally until it can find an area on the world where it can rise back to the surface and close the current loop. This usually occurs in the equatorial ocean, mostly in the Pacific and Indian Oceans. This very large, slow current is called the thermohaline circulation because it is caused by temperature and salinity(haline) variations. 2, record 87, English, - deep%20water

Although dangerous problems require the line to be closed and repairs must be made before the track can be used again, more commonly a track inspector simply downgrades track by imposing a speed restriction that allows continued passage of trains without the need for immediate repair.
