Media Watch is a national, volunteer feminist organization working to eliminate sexism in the media, by transforming the media environment from one in which women are either invisible or stereotyped, to one in which women are realistically portrayed and equitably represented in all our physical, economic, racial and cultural diversity. Moving On looks at the problem of wife assault in London, Ontario where a coordinated effort by women's groups, transition house staff, social services agencies, police, lawyers and doctors have resulted in effective and innovative programs.
